These presets use Lightroom and Photoshop’s AI capabilities to automatically select the sky and foreground, editing each section independently. Editing the sky and foreground separately produces better, more natural-looking photos with a single click.

The problem with global adjustments (adjustments applied to the entire photo) is that they often look great on one part of the photo, but make another part look worse. For example, boosting saturation might improve the sky at sunset but also create an unrealistic foreground.

Our AI presets address this issue by editing the sky and foreground separately. And thanks to Lightroom and Photoshop’s AI masking functionality, the presets adapt to your photos and apply the right settings wherever the sky and foreground appear.

Best of all, these presets are fully adjustable. Each preset includes a slider, so you can turn its strength up or down as needed. If the effect is too strong, you can simply pull the slider back to get a more natural look. Or, if you want a stronger look, you can push the slider to increase the effect.

Preset Pack Details

AI Base & AI Skies Presets – These presets are designed to be used together. The Base Presets impact only the foreground in the photo, while the Skies Presets only impact the sky. You can use one Base Preset + one Sky Preset to get the best results for your photo.

AI Golden Hour Presets – These presets are made for editing photos taken during the golden hours around sunrise and sunset, making the most of the golden hour’s beautiful warm light. The foreground and sky are edited independently using Lightroom/Photoshop’s AI masking capabilities.

AI Landscape Presets – Like the Golden Hour Presets, the Landscape Presets edit the sky and foreground independently to get the best results. They present an alternative to using the Base and Skies Presets separately.

Important Details

The presets work with the Lightroom (formerly known as “Lightroom CC”), Lightroom Classic, and Photoshop (Camera Raw). They are for desktop only and are not compatible with mobile devices.
The presets are intended for photos that include both sky and foreground. If your photo does not include any sky or is only the sky, Lightroom/Photoshop cannot create the masks needed for the presets to work properly.

What software/program do I need to use these presets?
The presets are compatible with the current desktop versions of Adobe Lightroom (formerly known as Lightroom CC), Lightroom Classic, and Photoshop (Camera Raw). You’ll need an Adobe Creative Cloud subscription to access to the latest version of these programs. The presets are not compatible with other (non-Adobe) photo editing software or older versions of Lightroom and Photoshop.

Do the presets work on Mac and PC?
Yes, they work on both.

Do the presets work with RAW or JPG files?
They work with both RAW and JPG files. RAW files typically give you the best results and most flexibility when working in Lightroom or Photoshop, so that’s what we recommend.

Do the presets work on mobile devices?
No, these presets are for desktop only.

What types of photos do they work with?
Use these presets with photos that include both sky and foreground. If there’s no sky visible in the photo the presets will not work correctly. Lightroom/Photoshop must be able to identify the sky to create the appropriate masks.

How do the presets use artificial intelligence?
The presets make use of Lightroom and Photoshop’s capabilities with masks that are customized for the specific photo you’re working on. A mask is created to select the sky and/or foreground, and then settings are applied to the mask to achieve the desired look.
