How to Install Presets in Lightroom

These instructions show how to install our presets in Lightroom (formerly known as Lightroom CC). We also have instructions for installing the presets in Lightroom Classic and Photoshop.

Step 1: Download the presets

You will download the presets as a zip file and store it somewhere on your computer. Do not unzip the file. You will need the file in zip format to install the presets in Lightroom.

Please note, we highly recommend keeping a backup of the presets in cloud storage somewhere (like Google Drive or Dropbox). That way, if your hard drive fails or you ever need to reinstall the presets, you can easily access the backup file.

Step 2: Open Lightroom and click on the presets icon

The presets icon looks like two overlapping circles, and it’s near the top of the right sidebar.

Step 3: Click on the three dots

After you click on the presets icon, the presets panel should open. From here, click on the three dots, as shown in the screenshot below. Clicking on the three dots will open a few options. Click on “import presets.”
